READjustment ... Growing Sacred Spaces of Quiet Inspiration

Creating a class that gives students the time to read what they wish has strengthened the will to read and has grown a mutual understanding amongst our students that the library is a sacred space of quiet inspiration.  This belief allowed us to be chosen as a YALSA: Teens' Top Ten Nominating Group, in which we receive hundreds of galley copies for students to review.  As a member of the Green Mountain Library Consortium board I am focused on the question of how Vermont will foster the growth of our youthful digital library, ListenUpVermont (LUV).  Can LUV grow a sacred space of quiet inspiration all over Vermont?
